What Makes Collie Tick?
Curiosity, mostly. The kind that starts with "I wonder if I could build that" at 11pm and ends with a functional Spotify player skinned like a 1999 Winamp client at 3am. The kind that takes a street art sticker from a Memphis alley to walls in three continents and then figures out how to put AR on it.
I grew up on a Commodore 64 before I knew what a computer was supposed to do. That early relationship with technology as a CREATIVE TOOL never really left. Neither did the need to make things with my hands, whether that's a motion graphic for a Vegas residency, a batch of beef bourguignon that takes the whole afternoon, or an IDC Bears piece that means something to exactly the right person.
Colorado got me 9 years ago and kept me. The trails, the light, the particular brand of weird that Boulder tolerates. I hike, I trail run, I fly fish, I cook from scratch. I disappear to Mexico whenever possible, Sayulita, Yelapa, the kind of places where the wifi is bad and the ceviche is good and nobody needs anything from you until Monday.
The work and the life feed each other. Always have.
